Update
I’ve got a few things to blog about, but haven’t had the time, for the peanut was hospitalized w/ pneumonia. He’s on the mend and mischievous as ever, but my free time is at a minimum. When I am on the Internet, I’ve been managing orders.
An employee at the hospital saw me working on some booties, and inquired about sales. So I’m letting you all know what I’ve got going on.
I am in the process of setting up my items for sale here: Big Sky Mountain Designs. I don’t have anything listed in the shop yet. But keep checking, I am shooting for the 1st of March to have the shop set up. I have permission to sell Wooly Wormhead Designs (mostly berets) and Sylver Designs (mostly baby footwear) so I will list them there.
I am also selling patterns now, and you can find them listed on the right hand side of my blog. I have them posted thru Ravelry, and after you place the order thru PayPal, you can automatically download the PDF file. If you are interested in selling items made from my patterns, just contact me (bigskymountainfibers@yahoo.com) for details (or read the copyright notice in the top menu bar). I’m a WAHM/SAHM too and designers have been gracious enough to give me permission to sell items, which in turn helps me pay for things for the peanut, and buy yarn to make more things, which in turn, keeps me sane (LOL)!
I have also sold and are selling quite a few books thru Amazon.com here: Big Sky Mountain Goods. Now that I am living in an apartment, and I have so many books, I thought it was time to let some go.
If you have any questions about items you have seen me make, you can always send me an email at bigskymountainfibers@yahoo.com and inquire.
That’s it for now. I am anxiously awaiting some quiet time to enter into my life, and when that happens, I will blog about some of the fun projects I have finished. Knitting, crocheting, and spinning keep my sanity intact!
Oh, and I added a widget about Ben Franklin. I was asked to do a demonstration of spinning on my wheel in costume in December 2009 for Colonial Times/Ben Franklin at my local library. I will blog a bit about that and my plans soon too!
