The New House – Part Two

the tree is real!
We have this fabulous tree growing, and there is irrigation inside the house, manual # gazillion that I need to read.

living room
I tried to snap a picture that included the height in the living room, and again, I need to read the manuals, because we have a handful of remotes. The top blinds, the ceiling fan, home theater system and flat screen all have remotes. And the cable guy came yesterday to fix the cable, and of course, there is a remote for that too.

fireplace
We haven’t tried the fireplace yet (it is gas), but I wish we would tonight! We’ve had some weather (mild by northern standards) but a chill has set in tonight.

entrance to one of the master baths
This is the entrance in to one of the master baths. This bathroom has a tub and toilet too, the other master bath, which I haven’t take pictures of also has a long counter with sink, and a spacious stand in shower. We upgraded the shower head, so it’s pretty nice now! Both have lots of cabinet space.

one of the master bedrooms
This is one of the master bedrooms. The other bedroom is just plain empty (we are hoping to buy another bed shortly, we just have to decide on the brand we want). The first couple nights, Wyatt would not sleep in his room, so his bed is next to ours. As of now, he has spent the past 6 nights in his own room. I think I am having the hardest time adjusting. We always went back and forth about Wyatt having his own room. About two years ago we decided to have a bed for him in our room because of the severity of his illnesses, and his asthma. But now he his doing much better, and wanting his independence!

About 5 minutes after I took this picture, Wyatt removed the table cloth and I have not seen it since! I haven’t taken any pictures of Wyatt’s room, or the second bathroom. So that’s about it. I have another post in the works about the rest of the house (hint: crafts) and I still need to take pictures of the exterior of the house.
We have so few possessions in the way of furniture, but I’m glad, because we can spend a few years looking for the right pieces (and yeah, I need to win some money at the casino, LOL).
