It's All About The Letters

If Wyatt had a choice he would be outside 24/7. And lately he likes to draw in the dirt. Suddenly I remembered I had unpacked some sidewalk chalk. I thought he was going to combust when he saw it!

of course, the smiley face.....

of course, the smiley face.....

He drew just one smiley face. I don’t know if ya’ll remember, but Wyatt loves smiley faces, so much that he found a sharpie pen and drew them all over the wall (click here if you want to see the smiley face memorial wall).

He went on drawing, and turned to me and said “F”. It took me a moment, but when I looked closely, Wyatt did indeed try to draw the letter F.

Then, I was so stunned that initially I couldn’t even snap pictures, he started writing the letter W everywhere, and kept pointing at it because he can’t say W yet – he signs it.

I was blown away, W was everywhere.

Unbelievable!

Then he stood and went to the gate (I really wished he didn’t write there, but he was on a roll) and started saying the letters as he drew them:  H – V – T – U (he even corrected his T).

h, v, t, & u

Amazing!!!!!

All I can say is, you go Wyatt! You are doing a great job!

(Now I have to forward every relative and teacher this blog post so they can see!!!!)
